On a typical web page there are still quite a lot of images that don't get affected by this extension at all, like some ads, some background images, videos, etc.

I have a custom CSS that I use with Stylus that works a lot better. I was just hoping that an extension like this would be a simpler 1-click solution, but it doesn't work for me.

Sorry to hear that this is not working for you. Can you provide any sample page? This Add on hides only images, Thumbnails on the videos.
