I give up.
After some update a couple of weeks ago. Saved tabs need a password. After weeks of trying to get it working. I just cannot figure it out.

If I save a group of tabs without a password. When I try to open that group it gives an error saying that it needs a password.

If I save a group of tabs with a password. When I try to open that group, it asks be for the password. But no matter what I enter, it doesn't do anything. The correct password does nothing, no warning, no nothing. The incorrect password also gives no warning, no nothing.

As far as I have found its the only tab saving plugin for Firefox that also saves the "pinned" state of tabs. Which is what I seek.

After using this plugin for years. It looks like I need to let it go :(

Doesn't work at all. Can't save any session. GUI is buggy, some stupid error showing when I try to save session like "cannot recognize tabs".

deleted all tabs my tabs with no way to restore them, kind of opposite of what i wanted

The extension is useless because of serious problem. After you restore session once, it is removed. If you want to restore it later on once again, there is no chance, it is gone.

When you fix the problem, let me know, I can look at it once again.
