- Rated 1 out of 5by yerman, 15 hours agodoes absolutely nothing that is not done very quickly and easily manually. Was under the impression this allows split tabs - it does not
- Rated 1 out of 5by NPlamondon, 15 days agoThis doesn't allow multiple tabs in one window. Instead, it replicates what all modern OSes can do to tile windows.
- Rated 1 out of 5by azf, 2 months agoUsually I not write review, but this time... this extension not do anything it promise, it just get some of your tabs extract them to separte windows and place in disorder arount your workspace, nothing more. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14673790, 3 years agoAfter installing and pressing the button, extra windows will open and you'll realize this is not the functionality you expected you'll try to re-drag them to their original window, they will close unexpectedly and you'll post a 1 star review

- Rated 1 out of 5by Becky Raymond, 3 years agoI was expecting multiple tabs tiled into a single window, not multiple browser windows all over my desktop each with a toolbar that eats up space.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16838167, 4 years agoIt just opens tabs in separate windows and aligns them. My window manager can do that.

posted 4 years agoYes, but a window manager won't support synchronized scrolling in multiple tabs, or hiding the windows toolbars to increase the viewable page area, or returning the tabs to the original parent window, - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16613184, 4 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by NetworkViking, 6 years agoTile Tabs was ruined the moment it began opening "multiple tabs" by way of opening the additional tabs in SEPARATE WINDOWS.
The ONLY reason ANYONE would look for an extension such as this one is to do EXACTLY what it used to do. We want to minimize the number of windows we have open BUT also be able to view multiple sites - side by side - for comparison and quick use of information from one tab into the other without switching.
Until this function is once again usable for that EXACT functionality, this extension is utterly useless.
Either commit to fixing that functionality or please retire this add-on.Developer response
posted 6 years agoUsing the new WebExtensions API's, it is not possible to display multiple tabs simultaneously within the same browser window. This is why Tile Tabs WE has to move each tiled tab into a separate window.
Reasons why you might want to use Tile Tabs WE:
• To compare multiple web pages side-by-side.
• To synchronize scroll multiple web pages side-by-side.
• To open links from one tab in adjacent existing tabs.
• To save tiled layouts which can be re-opened for future use.
UPDATE:
Tile Pages WE has just been released and displays multiple web pages in a single browser window! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14524943, 6 years ago
