Reviews for AI Translator and Dictionary Online | Definer
AI Translator and Dictionary Online | Definer by Lumetrium

by Pi Lo, 2 years agoSo far really good. When needing a quick definition, I would often have to open a tab for a specific website. I can get that from Definer.
One main issue is that you can use either the dictionary OR the translator, not both at the same time.
As a non-English speaker, I'd rather search for the English definition AND get the translation in my mother tongue if needed.
Please, add a tab to access the translation from a definition, and conversely.
Maybe also add links to the thesaurus?
I do like the custom source feature with dynamic fields! I was able to easily add the Meriam Webster dictionary or Thesaurus. If we could create several custom sources (with different custom icons), that would be great. I could expand on the capabilities of a great tool!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Alan, 24 days agoThis used to be called Definer and it was a better-than-perfect replacement for Google Dictionary. Recently dictionary, duckduckgo and Wikipedia tabs stopped working and when checking for comments or updates I see that they have changed the name to "AI Translator". I liked it better when it was the old thing that worked.

- Rated 1 out of 5by farDn, 3 months agoIt's using a lot of CPU even when it's idle. Approximately around 60% CPU usage increases when I activate this addon.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17067794, 4 months agoIt works fine in general, but on some websites, like Instagram, the bubble doesn't disappear unless I reload the page.
