- Rated 1 out of 5by Rich Touchet, 2 days agoAfter removal it keeps throwing up extra tabs to entice re-installation. Unwanted harassment.
- Rated 1 out of 5by PM, 3 days agoInsanely spammy, come on guys. This works great but you're going to ask me to block cookies every other day? You're going to hijack my start page once a week? You guys are a total joke

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18762090, 5 days agoThis comment has NOTHING to do with YouTube (so don't reply mentioning YouTube like you have been doing in most of your replies, which is bullshit and lame), the problem with this product is it randomly resets it's pause/unpause feature for ALL web sites. I will never pay for this addon again. This is totally unacceptable. What a waste of a good idea. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.
- Rated 1 out of 5by RH, 11 days agoThis used to work ok for quite a while but now deactivates itself. Or as the extension says it is "paused", every single time trying to watch videos on the Youtube website. Even turning it back on and refreshing the page it deactivates itself again every time. Save yourself the headache and stick with the ultimate one that has no issue blocking ads on any webpage and on different browsers.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Scin, 12 days ago0/5 stars. Already paid $40 for the adblock extension, yet still blocked from watching youtube videos. What a SCAM!!! Not worth a single penny! Complete and utter bullSHIT if you're on Windows 11. Don't bother wasting your money, you won't get a single cent of what you paid for!

posted 12 days agoWe are using a new strategy to handle YouTube's anti-ad blocking warning. When we detect YouTube's notification, we will automatically pause Adblock Plus so you can continue watching without disruption. The pause is temporary so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again. We believe YouTube will only attempt to show you the wall for a day or two and then we can go back to blocking ads as normal.- Rated 1 out of 5by You Suck, 14 days agoInstead of answering dissatisfied reviews with the same braindead copy-paste replies which are more insulting and annoying than anywhere in the vicinity of useful, how about you stop making a bunch of lame excuses and START MAKING AN ADD-ON THAT DOESN'T SUCK! And ditch the "premium" panhandling while you're at it!
Other completely free adblockers are about trying to provide a fully functioning, genuine adblocking solution rather than trying to profit on people looking to get rid of advertising nuisances, and these OTHER ACTUAL ADBLOCKERS HAVE NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER BLOCKING YOUTUBE ADS, so you Adblock Plus people are simply full of shit and clearly incompetent.
NO ONE ELSE IS HAVING PROBLEMS BLOCKING YOUTUBE but you, and everyone else is also far quicker to successfully counter YouTube's various crap and ever-changing bullshit terms of use, while you go on spouting nonsense about "using new strategies".
Blah, blah, blah! You're all talk and no action!
Furthermore, calling yourself an adblocker while allowing so called "acceptable ads" is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as "acceptable" ads! Nobody ever asked for ads, and ads of any kind are simply annoying - that's why people don't like them! Duh!
You are an "ad filter" at best, not an adblocker, because according to your own webpage it says that ADBLOCK PLUS IS PARTLY FINANCED BY THE ACCEPTABLE ADS INITIATIVE (See the "about" section: "How is Adblock Plus financed?"), and I don't care what the excuses are for that kind of financing. The fact remains that ADBLOCK PLUS IS COOPERATING WITH A PRO-ADVERTISING EFFORT! Adblock Plus is NOT an adblocker! Calling it an adblocker while receiving financing from any kind of pro-advertising interest is misrepresentation!
You're playing both sides and you know it.
In this day and age, people are more than capable of finding what they need, if and when they need it, using a search engine. They don't need to be "enlightened" about the supposed benefits of various bullshit products and services offered by various asshole companies that couldn't care less about quality and customer satisfaction, so f**k your sneaky spineless duality. You're not at all a part of any kind of genuine adblock solution - you're a double agent and a part of the problem.
Adblock Plus? More like BULLSHIT PLUS!
F**k you.Developer response
posted 12 days agoWhat is happening with YouTube is that we block their ads and then they find a way to circumvent our blocks and when they do, ads will show until we are able to block them again.
This is pretty much an ongoing situation and our filter list authors check daily for ads and then work on blocking them. For this reason, you may have periods while ads are showing and then they are blocked again. If you are only seeing ads on YouTube and not any other sites, that is generally what is happening.
Regarding Acceptable Ads, we believe in balancing user experience with the need for publishers to monetize their content. They are non-intrusive ads that abide to a series of criteria. Websites have to apply join the program and are judged by a committee. This ensures that all pages follow the criteria established.
You can chose to opt-out from seeing Acceptable Ads at any time in your ABP settings. - Rated 1 out of 5by peter, 17 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Oleksiy, a month agoTerrible! This extension automatically disables itself for some sites, overriding my manual settings without permission. As a result, all ads are shown, not just the so-called "acceptable" ones. This is a serious breach of trust and user control.
I deeply regret having ever donated to the authors. An extension that pretends to fight ads while enabling them in the background is not reliable and should not be trusted.Developer response

You have to start to block, not-block every site you visit. ALSO: There is NO WAY to export setting so they can be imported into the new version. VERY BAD !!!

posted a month agoWe're aware that YouTube has been intermittently testing strategies to show either ads or their anti-adblocking wall. However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing. Please try the steps in this article: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/articles/26653087560595-Ads-appearing-on-YouTube. If those steps don't help, please submit a support request and we'll be happy to assist you: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/requests/new.- Rated 1 out of 5by Garrus-V, a month agoUnexpectedly opens a Browser Tab asking me to upgrade to a plan and pay. HARD. F***ING. NO! >Use uBlock Origin instead.< Also, the "allow some non-intrusive ads"? What in the actual f*ck? It completely subverts what I attempt to achieve!
I list this ad blocker as "Not Recommended".
TL;DR
Get uBlock Origin and spare Yourself ads completely and the ad blocker's "ads" about getting a plan.Developer response
