The simplest way to mute websites by domain. No cluttered UI, no complicated settings - just right-click any tab and select "Mute Site" to silence all tabs from that domain, forever. Unmute the same way.

Works the same as Chrome's "Mute Site".
Remembers your choices between browser restarts.
Mutes entire domains (including all subdomains).
Works instantly on all existing and future tabs.
Zero user interface - just a context menu option on tabs.
Can still manually unmute individual open tabs.

Permissions:

tabs: Required to detect the website URL to mute/unmute tabs.
contextMenus: Required to add the Mute/Unmute Site options when right-clicking a tab.
storage: Required to remember which sites you've muted between browser sessions.

Privacy:

No analytics/tracking or network requests.
No data leaves your computer.
