Fix Google Maps and other Google search services. Now the extension will only try to redirect normal web searches. Let me know if this doesn't work right!

This update allows redirecting of Visual Studio error message searches and makes some behind the scenes code changes. It also adds unsupported cross-platform support for anyone who wants to manually install it from the source code to use in a different browser. I made a permissions change, too: it only asks permission to access data for the specific search engines rather than asking for access to all browsing data. Let me be clear: I do not process your browsing data in any way. This extension stores nothing (except user preferences) and only uses browser permissions to extract your search query from the URL. I do not collect any analytics and am not interested in what you are doing on the internet. Thank you all for using my little extension!

This update adds a simple options menu on the extension's page in the Add-ons Manager. This allows for disabling redirection for search engines you would like to use normally.

Fix for Google's URL redirects

This release fixes the issue in which links in Gmail or other Google services redirect to DuckDuckGo searches for the URLs.

On Google's web services, links to external sites use a redirect URL. For example, if you click a link to `https://example.com`, Google really uses the URL `https://www.google.com/url?q=https://example.com` and redirects through their servers. A side effect of this behavior was that the extension treated the actual URL as a search query rather than a URL in its own right, so links on Google services annoyingly redirected to a DuckDuckGo search for the URL. The extension's new behavior bypasses Google's redirection entirely, and simply requests the actual URL as extracted from the Google URL. This way is more private than without the extension.

In version 2.0 the extension has (finally) been rewritten for WebExtensions and new versions of Firefox. I apologize for the 1.5 year delay.
Preferences are not included in this version, and all Google, Bing and Yahoo searches redirect to DuckDuckGo automatically. I will soon be adding them but wanted to put this out now. I'm sorry if this is inconvenient.
