Blow me, it works! Why doesn't the built-in Firefox 'Save Page As...' work as well as this add-on? It used to work, but for some reason, it just will not download any html pages these days? I like the way it's all-in-one solution, no need for a separate directory to store files in. It's not clear where the file is saved to, or how to define the download directory. I've since found out that this can be done, by ticking the 'Save as' box in settings - so problem solved! A great Add-on, keep up the good work.

Thank you for the review. You can also save pages into sub-folders of your "Downloads" folder by prefixing the "File name template" value in the options of SingleFile with the sub-folder name(s). For example, the value "Archives/SingleFile/{page-title} ({date-iso} {time-locale}).html" will save pages into the sub-folders "Archives" and "SingleFile" in your "Downloads" folder.

Works exactly as advertised, finally pressing Ctrl+S actually does what it's supposed to instead of making a broken document.

Excellent archival tool! These days you cannot trust that any page will be available or drastically modified in the future.

SingleFile grabs everything or just parts, incredibly usefu and I use this along with Obsidian webclipper + Obsidian.

I rarely give reviews but this one I must. It worked out of box. Can do things even FireShot can't such as saving the page or portion of it in a single html file! Very useful for saving a website or web page on Internet Archive.

Очень полезное расширение и отзывчивый разработчик. А то стандартный инструментарий сохранения страниц уже давно нормально не работает с современным вебом и блокировщиками рекламы. Особенно полезное приложение в условиях, когда всякие уважаемые органы то и дело стремятся модерировать интернет, защищая граждан от информации, например, по починке устаревших серверов (не пытайтесь понять эту серию эвфемизмов на иностранном языке, это бессмысленно :) )
