The excellent NoScript extension is well maintained and updated by developer, Giorgio Maone, who quickly answers questions on forums.informaction.com.

The addon does its job well but I have to say this in a user experience POV. Browsing with this addon is NOT FUN at all. The amount of potential identity leak popups you need to opt in just to load already supposedly trusted websites are staggering.

Freezes your page when using tor browser by sending you alerts that interrupt and freeze the crap tor browser. This is on by default. I think it misses DOS javascript hacker injections that wreak havoc on your connection and browser.
