YouTube Thumbnail Downloader is a simple extension that lets you grab the full-resolution thumbnail of any YouTube video—effortlessly.

Just hover over a video thumbnail and a small button will appear. You can choose to:

View the high-res image in a new tab

Download it directly as a JPG

Or copy the image itself to your clipboard (not just the URL)

It works on the homepage, search results, channel pages, and even inside the video player.

There’s no clutter, no tracking, and no background scripts running. It’s just a clean, helpful tool for creators, designers, or anyone who wants a better look at YouTube thumbnails.
