Skype Web for Firefox av Newbyte

Detta tillägg behövs inte längre! Skype Web fungerar utan webbläsartillägg i Firefox nu.

Skype Web FF låter dig använda Skype Web i Firefox precis som du kan i Chrome, utan att ändra hur din webbläsare beter sig på andra webbsidor. Detta görs genom att ändra Firefox user agent till Chrome när du besöker https://web.skype.com och andra eventuella sidor under samma domän, men låter din user agent vara när du besöker andra domäner.

Med andra ord så gör detta tillägg att Firefox låtsas vara Chrome när du besöker Skype:s webbsida, även fast du använder Firefox. Detta gör att Skype Web fungerar i Firefox.

Det är inte garanterat att det kommer fungera perfekt, men vid skrivande stund kan jag bekräfta att chatta, röstsamtal, och notifikationer fungerar.
