Sorry not going to go pro just to get a mp3 of a video. I can just record my own audio output at that rate.

Nothing works with the latest update - I click on different video formats, settings and nothing happens.

Doesn't download mp3 at all.

tried several downloader extensions, none of them any good. give details later.

This used to work, then the author locked videos behind a pay wall. There is some paper thin excuse about how YouTube change the algorithm (True) so this can no longer provide downloads without infrastructure (false!) I don't know the actual code base, so take this with a grain of salt. However, as someone that understands video and audio encoding and containerization, this seems like bulls$h!t. There is no conceivable thing that could have changed that would make re-containerizing separate video/audio streams problematic without server infrastructure. mkv is an open standard, and there exists plenty of methods, including the browser, for repacking it on the client side. This extension is the authors ONLY project, hasn't been around for long, and doesn't do anything too novel. I suspect this was always just a coding cash grab, and we are just caught in the "capitalize" phase. Jump ship, something else will take it's place.

Was briefly useful, before gating the ability to download mp3s behind a paywall.Now it is no longer so.

Requires me to pay to download mp3... (even 128kbps)

I don't how else to deliver this feedback since any other form of communication is paywalled. The CONSTANT, permanent popups whenever you watch a stream are REALLY annoying, and there is no setting to disable the message. With my watching habits, this has become one of the most intrusive extensions I have. I get that I need to wait a while to download a recent stream (which I wasn't even thinking about doing) after manually closing the pop-up for the 50th time, stop telling me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Had to disable the extension.

Garbage, used to be good & they got it back up & running when it went down. Not the case now, hasn't been working for 2 months now, updates do nothing.
