    Just copies standard url not the iframe link. When chosing other options it just copies a random line of code that searches google instead of going to page when copied to address bar

    Hi Lee, when the extension detects a frame, the right-click context menu should offer "Copy Framed Page URL" to get the URL of the framed page. Can you send me an example of a frame where the extension grabs the wrong URL? I would like to figure out what went wrong. (You can use the Support site link and submit a new Issue, or the Support email link, both of which are in the left column of the add-on listing page.)

    Regarding other options: a plain click should get you a valid URL. When you use a modifier key with the menu items, such as Shift or Ctrl, the extension creates markup for pasting into editors. Those are not valid URLs for the address bar.

    Helps with one of my use-cases: use a shortcut to copy the current page's link as markdown like [title](url).

    I also tried HTML links and they showed undefined for me.

    However doesn't help with another important use case of mine that is copying *link* of the current page, so it becomes a clickable link if I paste it to a rich text editor like google docs, slack, or so on.

    Regarding active links: TODO (yes, I know I need to figure out how to add HTML to the clipboard, not just text)

    I'm not sure what went wrong with the HTML markup text (I generally Ctrl+click the context menu item). Perhaps there was something unusual about the URL or page title in that case?

    goto addon Preferences to enable showing its widget in URL bar then click widget to copy URL ... perfect ... simple it just works

    Just what I was looking for! Simple and functional. This feature should be native to Firefox. Only thing is that the "dark mode" option doesn't seem to work (at least, not in Zen browser).

    It works well but the "use black/white icon" option doesn't actually let you select whether you want black or white so it blends in to my browser's background

    It would be really great to get some feedback of the URL you actually copied. Like a tooltip confirmation.

    I like how this extension can be hidden from the context menu but can show in the address bar. However, I wish it would allow me to copy "rich links" that are instantly clickable instead of "raw" HTML or Markdown like the extension "Copy Link" (https://cup.aihedy.com/en-US/firefox/addon/copy_link).

    Thank you for the suggestion, and apologies for missing your review last year.

    Mozilla is working on implementing a clean method to write more than plain text to the clipboard, but it's not ready yet (it's only in the pre-beta Nightly version as of now). I'm inclined to wait for that to be finished rather than adopt the method used in Copy Link.

    Excellent solution - especially after the default button went missing in Firefox 90. It is the best tool for this purpose.
