    It doesn't work. I had to press it many times to clean the history when there are many entries but doesn't clean all

    Does not actually delete history in FF 80.0.1 x64 on Win10
    It looks as if it works, but after you clear the history, it is still there and will still be auto-completed in the URL bar.
