I understand about the release notes popup. Unfortunately as an extension author, it's one of the only ways I have to actually communicate to users. Most don't follow the Page on Facebook. So when I make significant changes, I may pop up an update page. But this definitely doesn't happen for minor releases. I hope you and others understand. I spend MANY hours of my life on this for free, and IMO it's not too much of an intrusion to be able to keep people informed every so often.

This sounds like a local browser problem, perhaps a cache issue? Are you using a recent version of Firefox?
