The new update is simply horrible. Text is hilariously large for no reason. Edit button was moved. Fill button instead of just clicking the thing. Actions that used to take 1 or 2 clicks take annoyingly longer to do now. Change just for the sake of it is bad. How could this possibly have went through testing/feedback before it got pushed to users?

Edit: Thanks for your reply I guess, but I shouldn't have to go out of my way to undo poor UX changes. Why wasn't the new thing an option instead of a forced default? Why can't I make the MFA buttons everywhere go away? While I appreciate the feature, I will never use it to avoid keeping all my eggs in the same basket, so they're nothing but distracting UI clutter for me. The unnecessarily enlarged font makes things a lot easier to shoulder surf and a lot harder to read. I'm not normally one to complain but these recent changes are incredibly unwelcome.

Hi. Check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer.

    Latest version (2025.7.0) is bugged, and a new version (2025.7.1) is on the way: github com bitwarden/clients issue #15899 Until that gets through the pipes, you'll want to disable auto-updates, and install previous version 2025.6.1 from the "see all versions" link on the addon main page: click on "download" for the previous version; should install as normal.

    The last few days when I login with the master P/W Firefox freezes and the cpu utilization goes up. I can only kill it through task manager.
    It works fine in Edge and Crome
    Please fix it.

    Critical issue. Like other recent reviews note, the current version of Bitwarden is unusable and even detrimental. Logging in triggers a runaway process that uses more and more memory and CPU cycles. I am forced to kill Firefox in the task manager before I can do anything else on my computer. A single browser extension using 7+ GB of memory is not normal.

    The developers seem to to be testing their extension at all, as since the latest update, the extension freezes completely on every single installation I've seen.

    Trying to use the Bitwarden Extension in August 2025, it caused Firefox to freeze for 10+ second for any operation, and the extension didn't even work - trying to fill in a password would just cause a 15+seconds freeze, and after that the password was not even filled. Disabling the Bitwarden extension caused Firefox to become lightning fast again as usual, immediately, so this was really a problem with the Bitwarden extension. This is totally unusable and unacceptable, and very sad as Bitwarden is a great service. The extension worked perfectly the last time I used it a few months ago, so this is a new issue (in the meantime I was using the Windows App, which works fine). I really hope this will get fixed quickly.

    Latest update is completely bugged. The whole extension goes into panic mode when you first try to log in. Have to restard the whole browser to fix for now... Needs a critical update asap it's non functional as is

    The last update do not work properly the add-on icon still in gray colour and when I enter the password to unlock the vault it causes Firefox to shutdown accidentally fix that please

    The latest version lags out enormously and uses a mind-boggling amount of RAM when logging in, making Firefox go from less than 1GB of RAM usage to just shy of 11GB. It freezes the whole browser for ~30 seconds while doing so, before finally letting all that RAM go and actually logging me in. I'm not sure if it's compromised, but I've tried reinstalling Bitwarden and I get the same results. The addon has been nearly flawless for years before, so I'm hoping this is just a temporary issue, but as it stands I find it unusable and highly suspicious about what exactly it's doing to use so much memory and freeze the browser.

    The extension forces me to enter a password instead of using my biometrics. This error has been occurring for a few weeks; it worked flawlessly before.

    I find it mind-boggling that the chromium version is at v2025.7.0, while the one on gecko is still at v2025.2.0, which is still dated March 21, 2025... why don't you update it? It's a great extension but I find that the version gap is just huge... the version on the add-ons is listed as v2025.6.1, but I can't update it on my browser I'm stuck on v2025.2.0

    Ich komme von einem anderen Schutz-/Tresorprogramm. Inzwischen setze ich Bitwarden seit ca. 4 Jahren ein.
    Sehr gut gelungen ist die Synchronisierung zwischen der Android- und der Windowswelt auf verschiedenen Geräten. Gut gelungen sind (meistens - selten klemmt es anfangs bei Updates von Browsern) die Eintragungsmöglichkeiten im Browser von Firefox, Chrome, Edge, duckduckgo, u.ä..
    Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig, aber es fehlen an allen Ecken und Enden Best-Practise-Beispiele, um zu verstehen, wie die unterschiedlichen Einstellungen effektiv genutzt werden könnten. (Excel hat genau solche für die Formelsammlung - hier würden sie ebenfalls effektiv helfen). So rätselt man gerne mal, was bei bestimmten Formulierungen in Hilfe, Beschriftungen, usw) wohl gemeint sein mag. Ein Beispiel? Auto-Ausfüllen => "Vorschläge anzeigen, wenn Symbol ausgewählt wird" => klar soweit? Symbole auf Handy, Desktop von PC, Menüleisten-Symbole .... ? Selbstgewählte Symbole auch?
    Sicherheitstechnisch fühle ich mich gut aufgehoben. Kostet ja auch.
