— Uporabnik Firefoxa 17770673, pred 2 letomaIt's not working and I CAN'T GET TECH SUPPORT. SuperAntiSpyware is picking up 40-50 tracking cookies daily on this computer and only 1 or 2 on my other laptop -- both with the same Malwarebytes and Firefox software.

I have both apps on both computers, so that can't be the problem. On the computer in question I don't get the Mozilla logo on the bar at the top -- but I do get it on the other computer. And on the second computer, the M shows how many intrusions it's blocking.
I sort of solved my problem by uninstalling Microsoft Edge, which I don't use anyway. Most of the tracking cookies were going into files with "Edge in the name.
You may have a problem with Microsoft trying to place cookies and bypassing Malwarebytes browser blocker.... Just a thought.
Anyway, very disappointed in the lack of problem-specific access to a qualified Malwarebytes tech.

objavljeno ob pred 2 letomaIf SuperAntiSpyware is a desktop app, it probably operates on the Network driver layer. Since Browser Guard is operates at the browser layer, if my assumption is correct, SuperAntiSpyware would get access to block first. Which might be why you see so many blocks from it and not Browser Guard.

This has warned me about entering two or three potentially malicious sites, but I get multiple occurences daily of pages virtually freezing and a warning pop-up that the plugin is slowing FF down. I've therefore disabled it for now. When I next remember, I'll give it another try to see if the issue (if there is one) has been addressed.
Edit: VERY impressed by the speed of Malwarebytes' response! Have added a diary reminder to turn it back on in a week's time to see if the fix has been implemented. In the meantime, I'll try very hard not to visit sites I shouldn't. :-)Odgovor razvijalca

This should resolve the issue. - Ocenjeno z 3 od 5— Uporabnik Firefoxa 18201410, pred 14 dneviThis extensions been good for quite some time now, but recently, due to the bug that's been slowing down my browser, it's starting to get unbearable, I upload content on YouTube and browse the internet, and constantly getting a popup from my browser that its being slown down for long periods of time every 5 - 10 minutes is pretty annoying.

I am using Firefox, and lately I have been getting the error message that Malwarebytes Browser Guard is slowing down my browser and that I should consider removing it. Not good.

However, recently I've been getting alerts from FireFox telling me that this addon is slowing down the browser.
I have no idea why this is happening as I haven't changed anything, so I don't know if it's an update that has caused it, but it needs to be investigated otherwise it's likely people could disable the addon.Odgovor razvijalca

In fact, I am now paying for something that breaks functionality across my browsers. I have no other extensions installed, and everything was fine before the update.
So I am paying for a service that actually causes vulnerabilities... Pretty unethical. I'll give it a few days for a hotfix... But there are other options that actually work so... Please fix this... I hate paying for things that actually make me unsafe...Odgovor razvijalca
