por Peter Thorpe , há 8 anos Long time use of the printedit functionality i'm glad there is a webextension version to keep using it, great work.
One thing as a user I found odd was the prep phase. So I pressed the printedit button that opened a new tab and it said PREP over the icon. I expected this to automatically change when printedit was done processing. You actually have to press the printedit button again to go to edit.
I would think if possible it would make sense to automatically change from prep to edit without user intervention.

publicado a há 8 anosThe preparing [PREP] stage is an intentional part of the design of Print Edit WE.
However, for those users that don't need to use the preparing [PREP] stage, there is a new "Skip prepare stage ..." option in Print Edit WE 20.0.
With the original Print Edit add-on, it was possible to create a perfect replica of the original web page in the editing window, including any adjustments made by the user, such as selecting an internal tab within the page.
With a WebExtensions add-on such as Print Edit WE, it is not possible to make a replica of the original web page (including any adjustments made by the user) in the new editing tab. Therefore, in the preparing [PREP] stage, the user has the opportunity to make any desired adjustments to the web page befores starting editing.

HOWEVER: saving as html does NOT work for me. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13443993 , há um mês

Graphics still show up in print, edits don't get saved, the interface itself is ambiguous, user unfriendly, and unintuitive. Why is this broken tool even on the list??

I would love an 'auto' function that gets rid of stuff automatically, and the user can tweak further if needed (or undo).
It would be more helpful if the buttons & functions had a small tooltip description about what each sub-component does.
If both these are available already, then they need to be highlighted more obviously. Perhaps a (skippable) mini-tutorial when the extension is installed. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 18939808 , há 3 meses
