por David Wynn , há 2 anos This is a great add on for displaying a simple, custom new tab page.
Especially if your page doesn't have links and just displays some JS enabled info, it's a great way to not pollute the address bar as you do so.
Works great for my simple use case!

- Avaliado em 5 de 5por leopold , há 3 mesesIt fully achieves the goal of changing the new tab page and properly clearing the address bar. It is the best extension for faithfully fulfilling this purpose.
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por NightOwl , há 3 mesesThis extension allowed me to switch from Chrome to Firefox since I've been using a Start.me page for a very long time and I needed the address bar to be empty when a new tab is opened.
Custom New Tab Page does the job flawlessly. An iframe is no problem for me since all links are opened in new tabs. Or you can just middle click them, you know. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Skrikch , há 4 meses
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Ra Shoe , há 4 mesesDoes exactly what I want it to do, I use this to make a "spacer" tab with my vertical tabs (since I have so many...), and I can set the title of the new tab to be a nice, visual "—————" instead of "about:newtab", which makes browsing through my long list of tabs much easier! Plus, the author's website at zen.mint.as looks super professional and works extremely well as a new tab page!

It is no exaggeration to say that there is a Firefox add-on market just for this. - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 12781457 , há um anoFirefox can't open this page
To protect your security, ..... doesn't allow Firefox to show the page if another website has embedded it. To view this page, you must open it in a new window. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 18097713 , há um anoBest option to have a custom url and not change the address bar, perfect
- Most other new tab overrides just redirect to the url. But this extension uses an iframe I think. Another plus is when loading the new tab page you can set it to be dark mode or light mode, so no more flashes of white when loading a page that is dark.
