1. When highlighting text "too slowly" the tiled popup won't show. Time to select text and the popup to show should be longer. Is there a way to increase that?
2. In search fields, auto close the popup when start typing on (on-screen keyboard and regular) would be nice feature to have.
Does it happen on all websites?
>Yes
Could you be having a conflict with another add-on?
>No, tested with all other add-ons disabled.
What OS / FF ver are you on?
>Win10 64bit and FF64.0 64bit
If i highlight text fast and stop at the end for 1-2 seconds (still holding mouse button down), the auto opening popup never opens. Even tested with two different mice.

publicado há 7 anos(edit) I'm seeing it now. I've got a 1s timeout to cancel the auto after the last change in selected text. I'll add a setting for you slowpokes

I can't reproduce that bug. I assume you're using the Auto opening method? I've tried going super-slow and never had the popup fail to open.

If the problem persists, open an issue at the support site and I'll work through some troubleshooting with you.

Again, I'm assuming you're using Auto AND you enabled popups on input elements? That seems like a reasonable option to add. Look for it in the next release.

- Avaliado em 1 de 5por LawrenceSan, há 2 anosI've used many, many different extensions in several different browsers over many years. (I'm an experienced web developer, starting when the web was first invented, and can code several different web languages -- in other words, I'm not a newbie.)
ContextSearch web-ext has the most complicated, buggy preferences interface I've ever seen in a browser extension. I have it running in both Firefox and Chrome, and when it works it's great -- but trying to customize it, add search engines, etc. is a nightmare.
Currently one of the engines in my ContextSearch list is "Google Maps". It works fine in Firefox, but doesn't work at all in Chrome, just leads to a blank page. So I tried exporting it from Firefox into Chrome. Forget it! The export/import features in the extension's customization interface appears to just export the URL for the icon, not for the search engine itself? And some of the gazillion preferences-interface elements for this extension, in both browsers, appear as just solid gray blocks -- regardless of what theme I use, or whether Dark Reader is on or off, or what other interface options I choose for ContextSearch itself. Of the options (including links) that I can see clearly, most of them don't do anything like what their name implies or what I'd expect them to do.
I haven't given up on it because, for the engines I finally get working, it's very useful. But I spend more time wrestling with this interface than with all my other (many) installed extensions put together! - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Usuário 5599219 do Firefox, há 2 anos

publicado há 2 anos(edit) That bug has been found and will be fixed in the next release
The save bug is known and may have been addressed in a recent version. I know it's been a persistent annoyance.
As for the transparency, you should be able to set that yourself using CS Options -> General -> User Styles. Use CSS selectors to apply opacity levels to the menu. If you need help, open an issue at the github site.
