If you'd rather not use YouTube's native History feature and share your data, but still want to resume videos where you left off, this extension is for you. It provides a powerful, private, and feature-rich alternative for managing your viewing history.

The extension stores all viewing data locally in your browser. No information is ever sent to any servers, and everything remains entirely on your computer, under your control.

Key Features:
  • Automatic Progress Tracking: Automatically saves your progress (timestamp, total duration, title, and URL) for any video you watch.
  • Detailed History Viewer: Access your full viewing history from the extension's popup. The viewer shows video titles, your progress, and the last-watched date in a clean, paginated table.

  • Smarter Playlist Control: Intelligently pauses videos resumed from your history just before they end, preventing playlists from automatically jumping to the next video without your consent.
  • Data Backup & Restore: Your history belongs to you. Easily export your entire video and playlist history to a JSON file for backup or transfer, and import it back whenever you need.
