av ggeshundra, 2 år sidanIt is an excellent extension, but I have one suggestion to make it generate more accurate summaries. At the moment, you can select which language the summary should be written in, but you can't choose which video text should be used. For example, I want to summarize the Russian-speaken documentary in Russian language, but the extension automatically selects English subtitles, even though the video has the Russian ones, and because of that part of the summary turns out to be English. It would be very nice if you added the option to choose which video transcription to use. Overall, great extension

which makes no sense, and there was no easy explanation found on Google.

My recommendation is to just simply copy the transcript over to your ChatGPT tab. Also it requests access to some "Allizom.org" even if you were already signed in to everything.

Chrome did not have that issue, but I'd rather use firefox. Atm it isn't working at all on either. I'm getting this on both: Unable to summarize this video.
