av Arragon99, 7 år sidenAm I wrong or are in version 0.4.0 no possibilities to configure it? I do not see any settings options. I am using Firefox 62.0.3. Currently it shows only the open tabs separate for each window, no window count together with tabs count like in your first image. I only see the correct counts when moving over the icon or clicking on it. Will be the full featured version only available for Firefox 63? Add info: I updated Tab counter from last version to 0.4.0.
** Update 16.10.2018 **
got update for 0.4.1. Noticed still missing option of add-on in Firefox 62.0.3 Add-On Manager view. Removed the add-on and reinstalled it and, voila, the options of the add-on are back. I do not know what happened that the view of options in the add-on manager view has been dismissed, but anyway.. now full 5 stars for my needs. Thx for your work

postet 7 år sidenHi Arragon99,
I actually removed this feature in v0.3.0. You must have upgraded from v0.2.2 to v0.4.0. I removed the "both" feature that shows the tabs and windows with a slash between them because many users were reporting an "issue" where the numbers were cut off. Firefox limits the amount of characters shown to 4 (including the slash). I was not aware that anyone used the feature, as there were no complaints after releasing v0.3.0. To protect user privacy, I do not collect analytics on how users configure the addon.
I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and I will release version v0.4.1 that brings back the "both" option.
Thank you,
Perry

- Vurdert til 4 ut av 5av FF user 0, én måned sidenIt let me know which Firefox window contains the highest number of unclosed tabs that should be closed last in order to preserve my unfinished tasks. However, there's a three-digit limit.

Like others have mentioned, 3 digits is a few too few. Can we do 5? I'd request 4 but I'm up to a 5,133 count currently and, well... you know. - Vurdert til 4 ut av 5av Secure Fox, 5 måneder sidenWorks but: Only shows 3 characters. The 4th 1,000+ is cut off on the right side. (though 1000 is too many for Firefox anyway). Customization settings would be good improvement.

Or maybe make the pitch of the figures customizable to fit everything in.
Hovering over the button shows the full numbers in the pop-up, so this is the work-around for the full info. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Gay Moist, ett år sidenworks great, couldn't find it at first (it showed up to the left of my minimize button) but it works perfectly and is simplistic. exactly what i need. you can look at the screenshots on the extensions page for examples. (I shoulda done that first)

I found out why my laptop was running slow when I opened my web browser :) i had many open tabs that i opened long ago - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 14019358, 2 år sidenlove it! I just wish it could handle more than 3 digits, it gets hard to see the count once I have 1000 tabs open

- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av sonofzeus, 3 år sidenThanks for making this. After seeing my result I have a feeling an ADHD diagnosis is incoming. I don't think having 2,245 tabs open is normal. My tab session is a few years old. I'll give it to Mozilla, Firefox has not bogged down even a bit.
