av Leo, 3 år sidenI like having the convenience of the sidebar to take notes while on a website. However, it is TREMENDOUSLY LAGGY. Not sure why, given it is a very bare-bones extension. Using any kind of formatting (Title/Heading fonts, bolding, using italics, etc.) seems to be the main cause of lag, even if you aren't extensively using those tools. Plus, when I click off of a note onto a webpage, then back onto the note in a specific place, the text cursor instead jumps to where it last was before I clicked off. I find this rather irritating, especially when doing lots of copy/pasting.

So, at the moment Firefox has not notes or file sharing add-on or functionality.
Otherwise, if you use just your PC, it's a note taking sidebar extension, as advertised.

If there could be some kind of pop up or warning when you go to delete a note -- along the lines of "Are you sure you want to delete this note? This action cannot be undone" -- that would be super helpful. Thanks!

They also listened to the user comments and added a dark mode, it seems, unless it was there all along and difficult to actually access (I discovered it by accident). Another important thing that I have seen no extension do before which I need: Please keep an option to auto pause videos while I'm typing and play as soon as I stop! That would be so useful while taking notes for online courses! That's all, thanks.
