- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 13832000, 7 år sidenFirst was seeing "Timeout or not connected to KeePassXC" as well, but manually enabling "Proxy" and "Native-Messaging updates" in advanced settings for "Browser Integration" allowed me to connect Keepassxc browser to keepassxc desktop on macOS 10.13.3.

postet 7 år sidenPlease check the new Browser Migration guide: https://keepassxc.org/docs/keepassxc-browser-migration/ - Vurdert til 4 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 13829661, 7 år sidenThis addon functions well with KeePassXC (2.3) as a replacement for the old KeePassHTTP system. I recommend using this extension if you already use KeePassXC. It has a very similar interface to the old recommended addon, so shouldn't be hard to upgrade to.
I've encountered a couple of situations that made it more confusing to use than it could be – it might still be somewhat buggy – but overall it's been a good improvement, and I expect it to be further improved soon based on the rate of development of the overall project. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av sw1ayfe, 7 år sidenLove this. The UI is much snazzier! The upgrade went smoothe too. I was a little nervous about having 4 versions of Firefox running and around 12 profiles across them and this supposed automatic connection to the browser. You see I use Arch Linux and install direct from Mozilla, not the Arch repos. But the upgrade to 2.3.0 still went without hiccup. Reviewed in Nightly (60).

I initially had a bumpy start, with the "Connect" button not launching the new auth key creation dialog when clicked, and later with the connection to KeePassXC timing out repeatedly and inexplicably at random intervals. However, all was well after disabling the `KeePassHTTP-Connector` extension and restarting both the browser and KeePassXC.
Otherwise, the extension works perfectly and operates unobtrusively in the background. It is very convenient for KeePassXC users, especially for Linux users within a Wayland desktop session where the global auto-type only works in X11. This new KeePassXC browser integration improves upon and supplants the older KeePassHTTP technology while remaining as easy to use day-to-day as ever. Very nice! - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 13822776, 7 år sidenFinally using KeePass isn´t a mess anymore. Thank you so much for your work!
- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 12132524, 7 år sidenI had some initial trouble getting this to work with my Firejail configuration, but that's not terribly surprising. It's connecting over STDIN rather than HTTP, and an overzealous sandbox is going to have some trouble with that. I think part of the problem might have been that I was blocking the /tmp directory where the KeePassXC socket lives, so if anyone is having the same niche issue, try unblocking that.
Anyway, my several minutes of sandbox fumbling aside, this has been a great successor to PassIFox and KeePassHTTP-Connector so far. I love that KeePassXC now has a "match URL scheme" option, so I would have passwords filled on say, "https://google.com" and not "http://google.com", and I appreciate that it doesn't autofill by default and tends to require me to click a bit in the username field first, unless I configure it otherwise. It's an ideal balance between convenience and security. I hope to see this add-on carry on for years. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av returntrip, 7 år sidenWorks amazingly well. Previous comments with one star rating are obviously not following the documentation and installing the beta version of the client. I think it is time to say bye bye to Lastpass!
Testing on ArchLinux, with FFox 57. - Vurdert til 1 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 13096605, 7 år sidenDoesn't connect to KEEPASSXC database:

postet 7 år sidenAs stated in the description, you need KeePassXC 2.3.0-beta1. Please check that this is the case. It won't work with 2.2.4.
