Essential Homepage is a minimalistic, productivity-focused replacement for the Firefox homepage. Features include:

- Adding, editing, moving, and removing 'Top Sites' (shortcuts).
- Automatically retrieving the icon for a Top Site from DuckDuckGo or Google based on the site’s URL. You can also specify a custom URL for the icon.
- No limit on the number of Top Sites you can create.
- Setting the page background from a URL, a local file, or retrieving a daily background from Unsplash based on a custom query.
- Importing and exporting Top Sites and preferences.

This update includes optional features that utilize external services:

Getting backgrounds from Unsplash:
Requests are forwarded through a Cloudflare Worker to fetch metadata. The background is then downloaded and saved to the add-on’s local storage from the retrieved photo URL.

Getting favicons for Top Sites from DuckDuckGo or Google:
These services provide the favicon file for the requested URL. The favicon is downloaded and saved to the add-on’s local storage to avoid future requests for the same icon.

All these services are disabled by default. Please ensure you trust them before enabling them. This add-on is not responsible for any data logged by these services. As always, this add-on does not access, log, or share your personal data.

Modifies the user agent string to the one used in the desktop version of Firefox across all tabs, persisting through browser restarts.

Toolbar Height Consistency - The toolbar height will now be the same on all sites, including in desktop mode. Note that in some cases, you may need to zoom out to see the toolbar.

Integrated blank.html - A blank page where the toolbar is accessible. Suggested by @MilaMurry. Thank you :)

Toolbar Color Consistency - The toolbar colors won't be affected by Dark Reader and similar add-ons.

🐞 Fixed an issue where the 'undo close tab(s)' button did not restore tabs closed by the close tab button.

🐞 Resolved a crash in existing toolbars when the add-on updates.

🐞 Addressed errors on the exclude settings page.
