    Thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately it seems the @ bubble was disabled entirely on my Google Docs for some reason (also tried to diagnose the issue on Chrome) so I don't know what HTML elements to target to fix it.

    I saw there was some success with adding "docs.google.com###docs-instant-bubble" to a uBlock Origin blacklist?

    Thank You! I don't think I'm the only writer that only wants to see a blinking cursor and not some annoying feature that's there because some programmers think it's cool.
