I noticed that you changed your rating from three stars this morning to two stars, which is quite surprising since my plugin works flawlessly on my end.

I’ve tested the plugin extensively in Firefox and even at speeds above 10x, everything works perfectly—including using the progress bar and pausing. Since the exactly same technology runs in both Firefox and Chrome, it suggests that the issue might not be with the plugin. Also, please note that beyond 8x speed, there's no sound.

If the plugin truly doesn’t meet your needs, I kindly suggest considering alternative solutions rather than continuing to use it and leaving a low rating.
