Bar-Jac Hula Fan Dancer. Born January 4, 2001 Passed (at home in her sleep) June 30, 2011. Illness robbed us of at least 2 more years with her--We called her Annie. Steady, Calm, Gentle,.Vibrant, Attentive. Delightfully Opinionated. Loved people, especially her family... It was Annie who inspired me to choose the Designer name CollieSmile. My smile quivers now. I am in anguish. But someday, God willing, I will smile again...Annie will live in my heart, by my side & in PersonaLand forever. UPDATE In early August, 2011, our family was offered a 6 month old smooth collie puppy by a breeder who needed to downsize her kennel. Smooth collies are the same as rough collies (like Lassie) except that they have a short coat. We accepted her. Katie is a tri colored collie, like Annie (pictured in my Personna.) though, of course her coat is much shorter. She is a joy to own, a wonderful member of our family! She has a different personality than Annie did, but she is a very special dog in her own right. Katie makes me smile! She is one year old now. I hope to make a Persona of her sometime soon.
