Absolutely perfect! Thanks a lot.
I have in mind 1-2 more useful options to suggest.
Is here a proper place or I might use your support email address?
(edit 4/3/19)
Thank you for your response and effort.
I can understand the possible technical limitations, but I would only like to stress the importance and usefulness of such an “Open in SideView” CS added option:
In this way, one could easily lookup for any selected words/phrases, in a multitude of resources like encyclopaedia, dictionary, translation, TTS, etc. sites, WITHOUT having to leave one’s current tab/page.
Now, this is possible only by using “per resource/site” specialized add-ons like QuickDictionary or by opening the wanted resource/site in the SideView through existent bookmarks and then copying/pasting the looked up words/phrases.
* By “Side Bar” I meant that of FF, not the “Side Bar” of CS. In resent versions of FF opening links/bookmarks in its Side Bar is possible using the SideView addon.

Great addon!
What about an additional option “Open in Side Bar” in the Search Actions settings?
Thank you!

Open In Sidebar option added to Search Actions in v1.9.9. There are limitations, however.
1. No POST engine compatibility
2. Sidebar must be opened manually by the user to see results
There are likely more issues but I haven't tested much.
(edit 4-4-19)
I can give it a shot. If you have a github account and are familiar with sideloading, you can start a thread at the support site and help test the progress.
I tried that a while back but the sidebar isn't handled like a regular tab and some things simply won't work. POST engines fail completely as a result of the limited back-end. I'll give the API another look, but I think it's intended more for as a UI for the add-on, not an alternative tab for browsing or search results.

- 1 შეფასება 5-დანმიმომხილველი LawrenceSan, წლის წინI've used many, many different extensions in several different browsers over many years. (I'm an experienced web developer, starting when the web was first invented, and can code several different web languages -- in other words, I'm not a newbie.)
ContextSearch web-ext has the most complicated, buggy preferences interface I've ever seen in a browser extension. I have it running in both Firefox and Chrome, and when it works it's great -- but trying to customize it, add search engines, etc. is a nightmare.
Currently one of the engines in my ContextSearch list is "Google Maps". It works fine in Firefox, but doesn't work at all in Chrome, just leads to a blank page. So I tried exporting it from Firefox into Chrome. Forget it! The export/import features in the extension's customization interface appears to just export the URL for the icon, not for the search engine itself? And some of the gazillion preferences-interface elements for this extension, in both browsers, appear as just solid gray blocks -- regardless of what theme I use, or whether Dark Reader is on or off, or what other interface options I choose for ContextSearch itself. Of the options (including links) that I can see clearly, most of them don't do anything like what their name implies or what I'd expect them to do.
I haven't given up on it because, for the engines I finally get working, it's very useful. But I spend more time wrestling with this interface than with all my other (many) installed extensions put together! - 5 შეფასება 5-დანმიმომხილველი Firefox-ის მომხმარებელი 5599219, წლის წინ

Lacks the option to "Close menu on right click" შემმუშავებლის პასუხი
თარიღი 2 წლის წინ(edit) That bug has been found and will be fixed in the next release
The save bug is known and may have been addressed in a recent version. I know it's been a persistent annoyance.
As for the transparency, you should be able to set that yourself using CS Options -> General -> User Styles. Use CSS selectors to apply opacity levels to the menu. If you need help, open an issue at the github site.- 1 შეფასება 5-დანმიმომხილველი mimigu, 2 წლის წინVersions after May no longer work. I would like to downgrade to an earlier version but can't find it.

თარიღი 2 წლის წინYou can find older versions here https://cup.aihedy.com/en-US/firefox/addon/contextsearch-web-ext/versions/
But depending on what when wrong, that may not fix your problems. If you could elaborate on the issue, either here or at the support site, I'd be happy to go over some troubleshooting with you. https://github.com/ssborbis/ContextSearch-web-ext - 5 შეფასება 5-დანმიმომხილველი bezuma, 2 წლის წინ
