Generally speaking, this addon is pretty good. Due to problems with Firefox, I'm not sure if I should give this four stars or three. Although at one point it was not incompatible, YouTube Redux is now incompatible with Firefox's built-in picture-in-picture mode, effectively rendering it non-existent and useless unless you turn off this extension. Additionally, it has clashing aesthetic issues with Styled, which provides the YouTube retro wave aesthetic, despite the fact that they both haven't clashed before. These issues have only started occurring recently and the date I'm giving this review is 8/10/2023. The only reason I'm making this review is due to the issues I've already mentioned. The YouTube Redux addon is fantastic, and I adore how it makes YouTube stop treating me like a little kid by getting rid of those enormous YouTube thumbnails, which make it more cumbersome and slow to use YouTube. Thus, I sincerely hope that whoever is working on the Firefox version of YouTube Redux may see this and address these issues, especially the picture and a picture mode issue since it is more crucial than attempting to avoid clashing with Styled.

I actually like this add-on a LOT because it brings back the old YouTube from like 2015. It gives me so much nostalgia on how much I used to watch videos back then on these old computers with Windows XP, 7, and 8.1 on them. But after time passes, YouTube has new designs.

But, this add-on has so much bugs. Such as the video player having the settings inaccessible (the only way you can access it is by pressing T to bring up theater mode which allows you to bring up settings and other things) and also playing back video when I clicked off it.

It also keeps skipping on playlists most of the time, which annoys me and bugs me. So, if these bugs were fixed, I will give this a higher rating. Thank you!

I got this hoping to undo the recent changes to how the subscription page is laid out, unfortunately that seems to be the one page this add on doesn't work on. It'd be an easy five stars if it did.

It would be great if it could work for SUBSCRIPTION PAGE not just main ;<

Ironically, some of the things listed to be fixed with update V3.1.0 that I just got on Firefox are broken now, some of which weren't broken before:
1. "fixed subscribe button from being displayed incorrectly" - no idea what that means, but now it's white text on white ground ... genius
2. "fixed an issue with thumbnails scaling in channel pages" - still broken as it has been forever, keeps randomly switching between 2 and 3 thumbnail columns when there's plenty room for 4 (constant viewport size)
3. "fixed precise dislikes count not working" - ok but the video dislike button is still miscolored anyway, it's always been white instead of gray when it should only be white after a dislike (comment like/dislike buttons are even both generally white instead of gray)

At least the sort by "Oldest" button is finally back, so that's a big W!

Update 2023-06-06:
OH MY GOD now even the previously at least still usable subscription feed is suddenly down from 4 to 2 columns and looks abominable! PLEASE stop screwing up what has been working before ... STOP ... JUST STOP

Great but I wish that there was an option to keep youtube shorts on the home page. I get why people hate them, a large chunk of them are awful but my algorithm is fine tuned to only show me animal videos. It was pretty strong so it'll suck to lose them forever.

Great! I never minded the layout changes until the most recent one in 2022. It sucks so bad I had to find something to revert to one of the old ones, thanks.

i expected this extension to to re-enable old features that YT devs disabled like the number of dislikes in a video or more recently the filter in a channel to sort videos from oldest to newest but i got none of those two, instead it made the homepage smaller and harder to read and pretty much all other features in this extension are useless.
