per Matt, hace un añoSince Firefox sidelined Michael Kraft's best session manager, I've been wondering why Firefox doesn't have its own session manager. Simply collect the session restore files and display them clearly, like in Michael Kraft's Manager. One click and all the files are there again, even with the option to go forward and backward in time in the tab if you have been in the tab for a long time.
The best alternative to it is your Tab Session Manager. But it has neither the function to select individual tabs to restart or delete using a checkbox per entry or a select all/none checkbox, nor the option to move or organize tabs into other windows using drag and drop. It's also annoying that the favicons aren't loaded when you restart quick, so you no longer have any clues as to what was where until you load every single tab again. It shouldn't be too difficult to load these pictures, just like the other changes mentioned... Why not do it like Kraft and use the session store .json files to quick launch the tabs with favicons and site informations. That would be the best present you could make to the firefox world. :)

I use STG all the time, so unfortunately until this bug is sorted, TSM is a non-starter for me. Which is unfortunate because it is highly recommended and I would like to use it. (P.S.: I run a Mac using Monterey so quite old, nevertheless, this post is accurate as at 2025-05-08.)
- Classificate 5 de 5per Dego, hace un mesWorks really well. I would like functionality to name windows and have that title persisting after saving and restoring a window or session. I'm using extension Window Titler that prefixes the name of the window with [MyTitle], followed by the name of whatever tab is currently open (so window title changes dynamically). That functionality is perfect, but that title is obviously lost when window is saved.

- Classificate 5 de 5per Woopah, hace un mesThis is an excellent and convenient extension that I've used for years. It has saved me many times when I would have otherwise lost all my tabs. I love that I can create manual and automatic saved sessions and even back up to the cloud or export to a local file.
If possible, I would really love the ability to backup up tab groups. I know that it is a really new feature and I don't know if extensions have the ability to do that, but it would be very helpful.
I think that it would also be nice to have a feature to pin some sessions to the top of the list to make them easily accessible. - Classificate 5 de 5per CommissarMouse, hace un mes
- Classificate 3 de 5per Bear, hace un mesThis extension is almost but not exactly quite what I am looking for. I really really dig the idea but the way that sessions work essentially just makes this a more complicated history tab. I would like the option to update and overwrite an auto save instead of creating a whole new save. With autosave a new save is created that overwhelms manually created sessions. I would expect the behavior that each window is an independent save and duplicates are not created. Additionally with events such as window and browser closing, the save feature creates multiple identical and redundant sessions.

However, since April 6, automatic saving is no longer carried out, neither automatic saving, nor regularly saving the session, nor saving the session when the browser or window is closed.
There are approx. 1800 open tabs - Classificate 5 de 5per CODE, hace 2 meses
