Ordböcker collects and uses data in the following ways:

1. Word Lookups: When you look up a word on a webpage, the word and the page URL are stored locally in your browser to enable core functionality. You can disable this history feature in the settings.
2. Settings: Your preferences are stored locally in your browser.
3. Clipboard Access: If you enable the “Read Clipboard” feature, the extension will access clipboard content for word lookups.

All data, including search history and settings, is stored locally and may be synchronized through your browser’s built-in sync service. We do not transmit your data to our servers or share it with third parties.
