per Mike Hicks, 7 år sidanThis is one of my favorite extensions for Firefox, but it's having some problems with Firefox 57.0. It seems to behave badly on some pages that redirect you at load time (unfortunately, my best example so far is a company-internal page which I can't share). I'm also getting prompted twice now when downloading things -- once to present the traditional "Open with..."/"Open in browser as"/"Save File" dialog, and then again with another "Open with..." / "Save File" dialog.

I don't understand the first thing that you are reporting (" It seems to behave badly on some pages that redirect you at load time"). Can you share more details (preferably in a Github issue or by e-mail)?

- Classificate 3 de 5per yarrmateys, 4 månader sidani can't seem to get this addon to work on some type of rss feeds (extensionless rss file, with application/rss+xml type. can't set "open with firefox/librewolf" for that one in settings either). forcing the addon to be "enabled for all requests" still only opens the generic save dialog, and doesn't show this addon's options in regular window (but it ironically works fine in private window, however even using that to make it work doesn't help in regular browsing, despite being present in 'your saved MIME actions', not to mention my rss feed doesn't work in private browsing either, so i can't use that).

Original review: Doesn't open Gmail PDFs. Just re-opens "preview in Firefox" pop-up over and over again. Doesn't work.Responsa de disveloppator
publicate 5 år sidanWorks for me when I open the attachment in a new tab (e.g. via the contextmenu).
Do you have any other extensions or special configuration that may affect Gmail or PDFs?
And since you're mentioning PDF files: Firefox 78 has a new option in the download dialog to view PDF files directly in the browser. It looks like this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=773942#c28
EDIT: To clarify, my comment about Firefox 78 is independent of your original review. If the extension doesn't work, open a bug report on Github or send me an email. I pointed to the upcoming new feature of Firefox, in case you only installed this extension to open PDF files directly in the browser (and no other file types). If that is the case, then you don't need the extension any more in Firefox 78+ because of the built-in functionality. - Classificate 5 de 5per Jacques BALEMEYA, 5 år sidan

Side note: browsing history is a relatively harmless permission. You should be much more concerned when an add-on asks for "Access your data for all websites".- Classificate 2 de 5per Usator de Firefox 13536012, 5 år sidandoes not work reliably in full screen mode under mac os

I assume that version 2.9 for Firefox Quantum is equally good.
