Wow this addon really do the job. Love the feature of being able to edit my own rule.

Just want to ask how this addon works: Is it: a) Load a url >> remove tracking link >> go the the page OR b) Load a url >> go to the page with tracking link >> removing tracking url >> go to the page with clean url. If the answer a) then it's all good.

I use this addon primarily to remove ebay tracking link (_trksid, _trkparms, hash, si, item & still adding). But I had encountered a problem when I put _trksid@ebay.* - this rule did not work in ebay.com.my site. ebay have different kind of site like ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.com.au, ebay.ca for example. So is the rule I put only works in ebay.com only?

To fix the issue indirectly, I just put _trksid globally so the addon just block it regardless of different domain.

    Came over from Clear URLs since it broke payment portals from time-to-time. Neat URL seems to strike a nice balance between maintaining privacy and not interfering with the browsing experience. Thanks to the developer!

    Хорошее расширение. Было бы удобно иметь возможность редактировать список дефолтных правил прямо в его окне вместо того, чтобы добавлять исключения. Ещё было бы хорошо добавлять сразу несколько параметров для одного домена, типа [param1, param2, param3]@domain.com

    Moved away from CleanLinks because it would break too many sites with the embedded url feature. I do wish Neat URL had regex support and a UI to easily add more blocks and to troubleshoot/see what has been blocked, but it works great either way.     I used ClearURLs for a while until I learned that it made constant requests to Cloudflare. This one is almost perfect but it doesn't seem to work on AMO. Probably a browser restriction, though.

    ClearURLs refugee here. As another comment said, ClearURLs breaks some websites like Decathlon (from time to time) plus this one is lighter so it's a win win.
