Dont rate this add-on too early - the developer is always working on current updates, sometimes it takes a few days! Love this add-on!

I've found this program excellent. I use FireFox on Linux and don't know if it is available for other platforms. I use it to download videos I watch at my convenience. Sometimes there are hiccups when YouTube modifies programming. I wait a few days; it works again. The program and the maintenance are excellent. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

i had installed this add-on and it worked. a few days later, i was working in my bank account and a new firefox window auto-opened. i thought it was a virus. this add-on had opened it and was "updating" me on issues with the add-on and requesting money. when i tried to close this auto open firefox window, it popped up a "buy me a coffee" box, which i had to manually close before i could close the window. basic virus behavior - auto opens with a popup while i'm in my bank - c'mon man. immediate uninstall. also, not very comforting to know that firefox let's it's addon programmers do this. if firefox allows programmers to do that, they could have access to everything on my machine. awful stuff.

It almost (thanks YT) just works, unlike my previous downloader which broke when YT changed things.

Perfect to save videos to watch offline. Timely updates when youtube changes.

Youtube is getting faster at blocking this. Be patient, dev always updates. Be ready with your downloads, you'll only have a few days till Youtube breaks it again.
