The "Download as" thing never shows up in the page, and clicking on the toolbar icon just puts up an endless "Generating download link, pls. wait..." mini-window. As with all downloader extensions, this is in an arms race, and right now YouTube is winning. Virtually all of them are failing lately, but this one is failing worse that most, in not even putting up the interface elements it's supposed to, much less actually extracting video DL code.

- Classificate 5 de 5per Usator de Firefox 14012375, hace 6 díasThe new EasyDownloader works well, is quick and easy, all that is needed is to paste in the Youtube URL and in a few moments you will have your file ready to download. Special note to Ubuntu users, 22.04 and 24.04: Ubuntu has left out a necessary library file called FUSE. The fix is here: search "Can't Run AppImage on Ubuntu?" and select the article from It's FOSS.
