The monthly payment receipt only has links for their payment partner, Paddle.
There is no pathway to login to the Adblock Plus account to cancel paid subscription. Trying to log into the Adblock Plus account returns an 'incorrect password' error, and no emails are received when the 'reset password' instructions are followed.
Do not install this, and if you have already installed it, do not pay for it. If they were confident that their product was good enough to keep you wanting more, they would make it easy to cancel the subscription. Instead, they have created one of the most difficult cancellation processes I've ever encountered.Responsa de disveloppator

Now I've been using uBlock Origin and that one works flawlessly.

We're just a tiny team and it's been tough to work against our well-financed opponents. It used to be the premier ad-block extension on the internet, but that was maybe 15 years ago. Over the last few years its declined in efficacy as well as becoming increasingly obtrusive. I'm sick and tired of opening up a new tab, only to have ABP trigger its advertisement tab begging me for money. It happens very regularly, sometimes several times within the same session.
I'm sick of it. I'm switching off of ABP. The last thing I wanted out of adblocker software is to make my own workflow inconvenient by introducing its own advertisements that are even more invasive than the ads it claims to block.
There are other, better, fish in the sea. Thanks for the good years, feels bad that you guys forced it in this direction.Responsa de disveloppator

Today, ABP seems to have changed & I can no longer choose elements to block for myself. That makes ABP worthless to me, so I guess — after all these years of ABP helping me use the internet safely — I need to find a better option that will protect me. Thanks for selling out, ABP.

Quit telling me you updated or how many things you've blocked, you keep disrupting my work and am getting pretty close to swapping to something less intrusive

If only the "We updated please donate" pop up was a simple small notification up on the corner of the screen, I would have thought about it seriously. If only it happened less than 5 times a week, I would have thought about donating. But if you hijack my entire screen for this (and the focus of my keyboard, which is a mess if you are typing somewhere else), I'm hating on you. I never donated (and never will) because of this. I installed this to NOT see adds, I couldn't care less if the adds are from Adblock or not.
Again, this is THE reason why I never donated anything to this extension, it clearly has no respect for the user.
I believe you think that by asking the same person 10000 times to donate you'll get a better reaction. But most of us adblock users are the opposite, every single time I saw the pop-up I hated this extension a bit more. Today, is the day I go looking for an alternative.Responsa de disveloppator
