Does exactly what it says it can do. Easy to read QR codes from the website by using the Firefox screenshot tool to copy and pasting (ctrl v) it for the addon to read the code and convert it to a link. Thank you for making this. Cheers.

Add-on works flawlessly. All you need to do is download/screenshot the QR code and drag it into the add-on window.

I've only used it once so far, but it installed perfectly and worked perfectly the first time.

just screenshot the QR code you need to scan on the page, crop and save as a JPG and drop onto the little addon window and you get the link shown.

Cannot read image in a browser, always asking to read the webcam which I don't have..
You need to do a right click > Copy Image, then AGAIN a right click to launch that extension then a Ctrl+V to put an image from the clipboard from the browser, to paste it in the popup ..

Love it, probably the most comfortable extension on the whole market. The only nuance is that the window opens in a separate tab, which I have to close after scanning. Is it possible to make it a pop-up that disappears automatically? That would be AMAZING!

Easily installed and worked well

This is an excellent extension. Worked right out of the box. I added its button to the toolbar menu so now it opens with a click in its own browser window. I just drag and drop a png file i created with a QR code, it reads it and displays it or executes the code in it. Easy as pie! No crazy adds or malicious things. My hat is off to the creator and I would recommend it to anyone!

Funciona perfectamente. Los problemas que reportan algunos usuarios dan la impresión que son por no saber como usarlo. Únicamente hay que preparar una imagen del código QR y con la opción LOCAL cargarlo y listo.

As mentioned in other reviews, there's a lot of confused users here, but the extension does exactly as described. If you want to scan from a webcam or a local file, you click the extension's toolbar button. If you want to scan an image from the web, you right click the image and hit "Open with QR Code Reader".

Works like expected. Don't get confused by the negative ratings from people who are angry because they expected something else.

It is not the extension's fault that you expect it something else to do.

You can read QR-Codes using a camera, what is very useful e.g. if you started working on something on your mobile and want to continue on the desktop.

Totally Useless! I need to be able to read a QR code in the browswer window on a PC! This does everything except that! Kind of Obvious when you think about it!

I wanted to be able to scan QR codes on paper, as I can with a smartphone. This works fine, if you set it to "Auto start". Would be nice if it opened the URL automatially if it detects one.

Works well and doesn't hog on resources.

Took a while to find an add-on with barcode support, not just QR. And no need to install an external program or give permissions to read all my data. Perfect! Thanks a lot for this add-on.
