It’s quite ironic that an ad blocker designed to eliminate unwanted commercial spam ends up opening its own unwanted commercial spam. I understand the need to monetize, but opening a new tab to push a subscription offer feels intrusive. Most people are already overwhelmed with numerous subscriptions and don’t want to add another. This approach undermines the very purpose of using an ad blocker in the first place.

Rethink your marketing efforts, AdBlock. Do better.

    For years AdBlock the free version worked very well for me. Now with a new computer it no longer works at all. So I bought the premium adblock version. Ads are still appearing on youtube. Yes, I have done the the General and and advanced setting procedures as recommended. I hate the ads... Is adblock loosing the ad-war or em I missing something?

    In general a nice add-on which does what it should, but as others said. The addon is frequently opening a new tab in foreground asking to donate or switch to paid version. I know no other addon (and there are very much great addons I use, that do not do this).

    it doesnt stop adverts on youtube or any of the other video content providers ive tried it with, what it does is this; often it opens another window and ask you for money so it doesnt open up that window in the future, the people who are giving this app 5* probably gave Ticktock 5* ratings as well. i gave it 2* becasue it was easy to uninstall, often these trype of money demanding apps are almost impossible to uninstall, so for that reason they get 2* from me,

    Вынужден изменить свою оценку. Авторы починили свой блокировщик, добавили новый способ блокировки рекламы для Ютуб. Работает с багами, но всё же работает. Например, в альтернативном режиме блокировки не работает ускорение по пробелу или удерживании кнопки мыши. Горячая клавиша F сбрасывает видео на начало.
