Needed to turn it off to get to hosts on the other side of the proxy.
Still, quite nice aside from that misleading option, glad I don't have to go through the settings anymore. - Valutade 5 su 5di Neuron, 4 vite më parë

And then I found this and it's awesome. Thank you - Valutade 5 su 5di Alex, 5 vite më parëWorks perfectly. The only think I need - better icon. I think there should be some color difference between states. Let's say, add green or red color to icon when proxy is enabled.

Domains that are mapped to an internal IP via DNS are not detected. I've tested it with Line 103 of background.js changed to return(isLocalIPv4(host) || isLocalIPv4(dns.resolve(host))); and it seems to work (needs dns permissions though)

publicât ai 5 vite më parëI'm not sure what the performance impact of that is, since that function is called for every request the browser makes. Not resolving DNS was a deliberate choice, and is why the option text mentions LAN IPs. It's fast (since we're just doing a simple pattern match) but imperfect.
It might be that it doesn't make much difference if the lookup is always cached internally by Firefox already, but the resolve documentation is a bit light on detail, so I don't know if we can rely on that or not. - Valutade 5 su 5di Utent Firefox 16178132, 5 vite më parë

publicât ai 6 vite më parëThis should already be supported, but it only works if the relevant setting is enabled (there are details in the addon description). - Valutade 5 su 5di Utent Firefox 15311978, 6 vite më parëThanks Richard for explaining the new needs for the perms. Love this addon for use in my regular SSH tunneling.
If I could request, it'd be pretty cool if the button was instead a dropdown rather than a toggle, to select from a list of user-configured proxies.Rispueste dal svilupadôr
publicât ai 6 vite më parëI'd rather keep configuration as simple as possible, and my time to work on this is fairly limited, so I don't plan to add support for multiple proxies. Anyone is welcome to fork the code and do that though (I think the main nuisance would be overhauling the settings UI). - Valutade 5 su 5di p1973, 6 vite më parë
