URL Incrementer - A Next Page Incrementer par Sixcious
20 notes
- Noté 2 sur 5par Esther, il y a 4 moisIt used to be great but now the automatic increment is limited to 5 tabs every 2 seconds. To me, it's becoming useless, looking for an alternative. It says about "Special" but it leads to a page in construction.

mis en ligne : il y a 4 moisHi Esther, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. You're referring to the Developer Toolkit, and that was a test-only feature in the Beta version of URLI you were using. I put "! TEST FEATURE" next to it in the UI to try and help remind users. I pinned a notice on GitHub last year to try and let users know that this change was coming (the only way I can really communicate with users): https://github.com/sixcious/url-incrementer/issues/17. I'm really sorry for the change, but it was necessary to protect URLI from being abused by bad actors. Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 6 moisHi Lemon Grass, that isn't an error with URLI and it's because Firefox (your browser) is blocking it from working on that specific page. You were most likely on an error page (e.g. missing file page), or on some protected browser page that Firefox is blocking. If you open an issue on GitHub (via the Help Button), I'd be happy to help you!

Despite image hosting sites frequently thwarting this addon and the addon being unable to build galleries or at least search in a direction for pages that return something other than 404 or some other error, this little tool can get you to other image galleries if you're willing to flip far enough out in a direction. Thank you for making this. It's pretty nice to have again.

- Noté 5 sur 5par JFred, il y a 4 ansLong time user and like the addon a lot. What just changed from 0.0 to 0.1 besides going from "@license LGPL-3.0" to a custom-proprietary one? What exactly is going on with this project?
- Noté 5 sur 5par jt, il y a 5 ansWhat, no 6th star I can give this add-on? It performs exactly as described. Its author was super helpful when I ran into an installation issue (See GitHub issue #3 for our correspondence about this). The issue is not one you are likely to encounter, and, after solving it with Roy, I now have access to all features of this very flexible add-on (plus its companion add-ons to optionally add "+" and "-" buttons in your toolbar). I can enable it (or not) to work in Private Windows, and it's default keystroke shortcuts Ctrl-Shift-Up Arrow and Down Arrow do not interfere with my other add-ons (Zoom Scheduler, Duck Duck Go Privacy, Duck Duck Go Search). I've been looking for a replacement for the ancient and perfect "URL Flipper" after updates to Firefox rendered it unusable. This one, URL-Incrementer, is the real deal and the way to go.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Daniel Saner, il y a 5 ansI've been using the "URL Flipper" extension a lot for many years, and was missing it ever since the change to WebExtensions. This is a great replacement! The only thing I find missing is separate increase/decrease buttons to add to the toolbar, but I understand that this may be due to restrictions imposed by Firefox and simply not possible anymore after the old extension APIs have been removed. The keyboard shortcuts, which are thankfully fully configurable, are a good replacement for now, though. Thank you to the developer!

mis en ligne : il y a 5 ansHi KarpovGambit, I'm sorry it's not working in Firefox 71. If you haven't already, can you try uninstalling and installing it again? I've heard some other extensions may cause issues with URLI requiring it to be re-installed, and I'm investigating this. I've tested it in Firefox 72/Win10 and everything seems to be working okay, but if the problem still persists, please don't hesitate to email me with more details like your OS/environment so I can try and replicate to get this issue resolved. Thank you very much and apologies once again!- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 15185580 de Firefox, il y a 6 ans
