par Loquacious1, il y a 7 ansWorks like a charm for me, saves my having to read the browser by highlighting text and pressing a button! Doesn't get much better than that...
UPDATE: Broke with the last Windows Update, prevents highlighting to right click then copy/paste. Have submitted a detailed bug report and disabled the extension. Also it would be nice if the speaker button was less obtrusive and had more of an offset from my cursor and text. It gets in the way! Please take time to work on this extension and possibly improve on it with speed and pitch options. I'm going to miss it.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Raygen, il y a un moisThe highlighting is nice, something that I couldn't find in other extensions, but the voices are NOT natural (like the MS Edge TTS extension), they're just the classic robotic voices included in the OS.

- Noté 1 sur 5par Israel Roldan, il y a 2 ansBasically, it does nothing. I think that it didn't install the voices because I don't listen to any voices. I am on Firefox – Arch Linux – Kernel 6.1.12 – x86_64.

There is no 'toggle'.
The highlighting works, but there is no sound/voice.
"Note 2: HTML5 TTS API is still a work in progress and may encounter crashes or errors. If the API is not active in your browser, please go to "about:config" page and search for "webspeech" keyword. Once you find "media.webspeech.synth.enables" item, right-click on it and click - Toggle - to enable it." - Noté 5 sur 5par 𝓚𝓘𝓢𝓢_ℳႸ_𝓦𝓔𝓔𝓓, il y a 3 ansVERY NICE !! ONLY I WISH IT HAD AN SPEED CONTROL & GIRL VOICE :D
- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17523261 de Firefox, il y a 3 ansTerrible UX - opening a separate window for a seemingly simple function defeats the whole purpose of an addon. Waste of 5 mins of my life (including 2 mins reviewing this).
