When I disconnect from PIA on my web-browser instead of my IP being the same as what my computer is connected to I get a random one for my browser, like the Netherlands, England, France, ect. Kinda odd that instead of my browser just using the IP that my computer is on it connects me to a random server. Always in Europe also. I need to restart my browser to have it use the IP I'm getting through the desktop app. I'm only taking one star off because I'm still connected to a VPN and it is really nice switching it to a US VPN when I need it. I wish I could have certain tabs connected to a VPN while the other default to what my computer is using but this is nice as it is.

RSA 4096 encryption, port forwarding, kill switch, WebRTC blocking, Sort gateways by latency, Website URL whitelist. 5 devices connected simultaneously. No traffic logs . 24/7 customers support.

- Noté 5 sur 5par I_Tichy, il y a 7 ansI love so much about this extension (and PIA in general), but it seems to be resizing my browser every time I close it and reopen it. As soon as I disable the extension this behavior stops. Will gladly change to a 5 star review if I can get this to stop.
Edit: Customer service was awesome. Let me know that if I disabled fingerprint protection I'd no longer have issues with my browser being resized.Réponse du développeur

- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14311631 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansI got a year of PIA earlier this year but had to get a different one because the desktop app does not log on. I hoped that this might work but it didn't either. PIA was recommended to me by others so I suppose it works for some but it has never worked for me.

- Noté 5 sur 5par ESMP, il y a 7 ansWorked great before... now I keep getting this error even though I never changed my password or anything...
"Authentication error
If you recently changed your password on the Private Internet Access website then re-authenticating with the extension might fix this error."
EDIT: Gave back the five stars because it is now working as it should. I still don't really know what caused it but so far I can navigate with no errors.Réponse du développeur

- CS Team - Noté 5 sur 5par Crisdavid, il y a 7 ansA few issues connecting to sites such as waiting for TLS handshake to be done while under the VPN, servers sometimes will say the latency is at 0 or 100ms but if I go back and forth it will update with the correct server latency. All in all I'm very happy that Firefox has a extension!
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14161970 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansSuper easy to use and connects very quickly and reliably. Credentials persist perfectly now. I have noticed occurrences where logging into certain systems is thrown off by the constant new locations but that's exactly how VPNs function and entirely the point to their use. People having issues logging into certain websites that use IP to identify you should expect their systems to be concerned with the constant changing IPs. I have found ways to reduce the confusion by picking a node for certain types of activities like banking and online shopping and connecting to them every time so the IP stays consistent.

- Noté 1 sur 5par dez0, il y a 7 ansCannot be used because I'm on Firefox Legacy.
Why then, was I allowed to download, install it, and waste my time?
If you choose not to make it compatible with Firefox Legacy, then flag it as such in the Add-ons market so people don't waste their time.Réponse du développeur
