par JD6T_P6, il y a 8 moisI've been using "Malwarebytes Browser Guard" for a couple of months, and I've noticed a few issues.
There's no doubt it does a great job blocking malicious sites, trackers, scams, etc. But it also slows down the browser when I have several tabs open or when loading more than one tab at the same time. After testing, I noticed a pattern (at least in my case): the more images a website has (Google Maps, ArtStation, Pinterest, etc.), the worse the browser's performance gets. So, I went into the extension's settings and disabled its three main features (Ads/Trackers = Off, Malware = Off, Scams = Off) for each of these sites, but to my surprise, it didn't work—the sites were still slow. I assume that Malwarebytes is still scanning all the links on the site, but the fact that this happens even after disabling those features feels like a big flaw. Hopefully, it's just me not knowing how to use the extension properly, but for now, I had to disable it.
At first, I thought the issue was related to my browser's cache or something similar, so I reset the browser, and that fixed it temporarily. However, once I reinstalled my extensions, the issue came back. After testing them one by one, I found out that the problem was caused by "Malwarebytes Browser Guard."
This wouldn't be such a big deal, but I use the aforementioned pages a lot and at least I think that many users also use Google Maps and from my experience, that's where the issue is the worst.

- Noté 1 sur 5par Alfonso Alongi, il y a 3 joursThis was a great extension before the clipboard monitoring feature was introduced. This feature does not work properly and constantly replaces the clipboard content with “[⚠️ Suspicious Content]”.
Please provide the option to disable the feature because the extension has become unusable. I also tried disabling the “Get data from the clipboard” and “Input data to the clipboard” permissions from the Firefox settings, but it doesn't work. This is a serious problem.
I also tried sending an email to support@malwarebytes.com, which is listed in the extension support, but I received an automatic reply saying, “Your email was sent to an unmonitored mailbox account.” and to open a ticket. - Noté 3 sur 5par Merriska Carrier, il y a 4 joursNormally works very well, unfortunately even after the mid July patch it was still making watching Youtube incredibly sluggish and with pop ups so I've had to temporarily disable it.

mis en ligne : il y a 3 joursI'm sorry to hear that. We will look into this. In the meantime, you are right—you can turn off ad protection for YouTube and still be safe on other sites you visit.
If you can provide more details at support.malwarebytes.com, this would be helpful for debugging. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18760669 de Firefox, il y a 17 jours

Can you verify that you are running the latest 3.0.23?

- Noté 5 sur 5par SRF, il y a 24 joursExcellent add-on for safer browsing, without all the annoying bloat that other AV-providers implement in similar products.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 16351663 de Firefox, il y a 25 joursI'm running the latest version of FireFox. This has warned me about entering two or three potentially malicious sites, but I get multiple occurences daily of pages virtually freezing and a warning pop-up that the plugin is slowing FF down. I've therefore disabled it for now. When I next remember, I'll give it another try to see if the issue (if there is one) has been addressed.
Edit: VERY impressed by the speed of Malwarebytes' response! Have added a diary reminder to turn it back on in a week's time to see if the fix has been implemented. In the meantime, I'll try very hard not to visit sites I shouldn't. :-)Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 25 joursThank you for reporting, we have a fix for this pending for review by the Firefox team.
This should resolve the issue. - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18201410 de Firefox, il y a 25 joursThis extensions been good for quite some time now, but recently, due to the bug that's been slowing down my browser, it's starting to get unbearable, I upload content on YouTube and browse the internet, and constantly getting a popup from my browser that its being slown down for long periods of time every 5 - 10 minutes is pretty annoying.
Until this bug's fixed, I do not recommend this extension to anyone, despite how good its features are.Réponse du développeur

I am using Firefox, and lately I have been getting the error message that Malwarebytes Browser Guard is slowing down my browser and that I should consider removing it. Not good.
