- Noté 3 sur 5par PatrikZudel, il y a 7 moisI still can't find a good addon for youtube summaries.. This one at least WORKS compared to the others that are available at the moment but it has a major flaw.
The "summaries" are extremely long and wordy even on the "short" setting. We should be able to customize the prompt because it obviously isn't that good for short summaries...
3 Requests:
1. Make the "short" setting produce short summaries.
2. Allow choosing a custom prompt
3. Allow choosing OpenAI API using own API key
Thank you for making this anyway! - Noté 5 sur 5par Mamlow, il y a 7 moisGreat addon, incredibly polished, the only thing that it is missing is the ability to chat with the summary bot, and to add our own api for our chosen chatbot. Please if you see this review add the ability to chat with the summary bot, oftentimes, the summary of the video is way too long, much appreciated
- Noté 5 sur 5par wojteg, il y a 7 moisthis add-on creates very good summaries of movies so you can save a lot of time or even before watching the movie find out if the movie is worth watching or if it's just clickbait. It works great with both English and Polish movies. I recommend

- Noté 5 sur 5par Andrés Rendón, il y a 7 moisIts a great extension, But I'd like to have options to use my own API key, select the model and input custom prompts to it, maybe having different prompts for different kind of videos to get the most of the thing.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Josh, il y a 7 moisPerfect for sifting vacuous 20min "algorithm" videos.
My only critique is that the 'short' answers are still very long.
Big thanks to alex for sharing this QOL improvement with us. - Noté 5 sur 5par Abanoub, il y a 8 mois

- Noté 5 sur 5par kitsunesan, il y a 8 moisThank you for making this! It is the only youtube summarizer that actually works on firefox. I have a request. It would be great if the ai can include time stamps of the bullet points

mis en ligne : il y a 10 moisGood afternoon, thanks for your feedback. This bug may be due to the fact that the language of the subtitles does not match the language of the video in some video. This problem comes from YouTube, but I will try to fix it in the extension in a future update. - Noté 5 sur 5par shinediamond295, il y a un anclean interface and just works without begging for money 👍
- Noté 4 sur 5par Tommy, il y a un anIt works very well. Here are a few suggestions :
- When we open a YT video using "Open in new tab" (back-end), we have to reload the webpage to see the "Summarize" button when we access the tab, which is annoying.
- It's not clear how to access preferences, for example to change language.
- That would be great to have an option to disable "Minutes saved"... because I think most people don't care about that. It would help to keep a clean and minimal user interface.
- The number of "Minutes saved" is not accurate, because it takes time to read the summary, and the number that is displayed is the duration of the video. For instance, for a 30-minute video, if it takes 2 minutes to read the summary, number of minutes saved is not 30 but 28. You could reduce the number based on how long is the summary (number of words) and the average reading speed.
- The summary is great, but it would be better if it was not always referring to "The text describes..." or "The author...". I understand that the summary is from the transcript, which is text, but that would be more accurate if there was a way to tell the AI that the source is a video, and not a text (i.e. the speaker instead of the author, or the video instead of the text).
IMO, the first and the last comments should be the most important to improve. Overall, a very good extension, very simple and accurate.Réponse du développeur
