publicado el hace 5 añosProtonMail delivery should be fixed now; thank you for reporting this!- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Slayereon, hace 5 añosLove this idea, very useful for when you need to make a one-off account or when you're not sure a website is trustworthy. Will be so much more useful when we can make more/unlimited aliases.
- Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14666618, hace 5 añosThis is just brilliant. Registering for services online without having the concern of some data breach leaking your private mail address or dealing with a company that sells your e-mail address to third parties. Good job Mozilla!

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Y_P, hace 5 añosThe concept is good but I'm not receiving some confirmation emails when I use the relay to subscribe on a website.
Reply 1: Updated rating since everything seems fixed now :)
However, as some mentioned, it would be ideal for the widget to directly display the relay address and have the option to copy it.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 5 añosIf you're using ProtonMail, ProtonMail delivery should be fixed now; thank you for reporting this! - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14124145, hace 5 añosWorks fine.
One problem: it is very hard to copy emails from the manager if you have clipboardevents disabled, please auto select the email when pressing the copy button to CTRL+C it.
Also it would be better if there was no subdomain in the email. - Se valoró con 3 de 5por Cosmic_Annihilation, hace 5 añosThis service is a great idea in principle and I hope it helps funding Firefox. But I already found sites that are blocking these alias email addresses, probably because it's too easy to simply block the relay.firefox.com domain. I'm not directly blaming Mozilla for this but hopefully new versions of the service will make it harder for sites to block the aliases.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Uuuui, hace 5 añosI like this extension, but it could be a bit better if you could choose which email address to forward emails to if you have any secondary addresses in your account.
Better yet, there could be the option to manually type the email address in, allowing you to choose whichever one you want. However, I understand if the developers don't want to add that feature because of the risk for abuse.
Also, if there is a way for Mozilla/Firefox Relay to tell me when a message that was supposed to be forwarded was blocked because it was too large, I'd like this extension/service even more.
I'm happy with how this extension is currently, but I still think it has some room for improvements. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por --FIRE--, hace 5 años
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15187783, hace 5 añosWorks for me. However it populates multiple entries in "Devices and Apps" section of Mozilla account. Probably as many as devices it's activated on. Makes no sense, as this is same service used across.
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Jarooo_t, hace 5 añosGrate add-on.. the only thing is the length of aliases.. some websites asking for shorter ones (like email address can't be longer than 25 characters) - any chance you can customize this a bit?? Thanks!!
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por JJ, hace 5 añosVery cool addon, have been looking for something like this for some time, but it REALLY needs some way of having unlimited aliases. Maybe a pro version, maybe unlimited aliases with a custom domain, but unlimited aliases are really important because then you could create an alias for every website.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13790203, hace 5 añosI already love this add-on and will likely use it more. The icon that shows up in email fields is so easy. My main gripe is that it takes a few minutes for the email to arrive, causing a moment of panic about whether it worked. Only one time did I experience that the relay email caused a purchase order form to malfunction. I trust Mozilla not to read the content of my email, but I would appreciate more information about the terms and processes of Amazon Simple Email Service. The link to their privacy policy from Mozilla's isn't really helpful enough, because I don't know what part is relevant for the service provision. I treat companies that "do" things with email with suspicion so Firefox Relay could differentiate itself more by emphasizing and explaining that it is indeed private and doesn't suck up or aggregate my private data (if that is indeed the case).
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Kalamun, hace 5 añosI find this service useful and the plugin nice. However, I experienced an issue and I found no place where to report it.
The issue: the plugin create a wrapper around the email field (class fx-relay-email-input-wrapper) with z-index of 99999999999999.
The label of that field was supposed to be over the field (z-index 100), but is actually hidden by the field itself (that normally has a z-index of 10) and this breaks the layout.
Thank you to consider this scenario in your tests.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 5 añosThanks for finding this. We have logged an issue for this problem and expect to deliver a solution in a future release. - Se valoró con 3 de 5por tinytoast, hace 5 añosThe idea of a relay junkmail with option to enable/disable redirection is excellent!
However, I find the addon and the user experience to be near useless.
BEST UX practice:
1. Click on email field, addon suggests to input relay address.
2. Click on any alias, it gets submitted to field. Nice and easy.
Current flow:
1. Click email field, addons says "You have X aliases left", only "Manage" button available;
2. Click Manage, get redirected to Mozilla sign in page;
3. Sign in to Mozilla;
4. Manually copy alias from the list;
5. Go back to page with email field;
6. Manually paste the alias.Respuesta del desarrollador

また、エイリアスの管理画面で作成したエイリアスにメモなどを書き込めるとさらによいと思いました。今後エイリアス数上限が上がること期待してしまいます。
It's convenient. However, you can't know to know the email address of the person to whom the forwarded email is coming from. That's a complaint.
And I thought it would be even better if I could write memos and so on to the alias I created in the alias management screen. I hope the maximum number of aliases will be increased in the future.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 5 añosThanks for the feedback and sorry to reply in English. We are working through some issues with non-Latin character sets. We should have a solution soon. We have an item in our backlog to allow you to annotate email aliases with additional information. And yes, we will offer a version that provides more than 5 email aliases.

publicado el hace 5 añosSorry for the reply in English. I'm not sure what kind of reporting function for program errors you are looking for. Are you asking for a way within Relay to provide feedback? Also curious about what errors you are encountering. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 16248181, hace 5 añosI can not understand why I need to install addon to use Firefox Relay. It can be server-side solution, no need to install addons essentially. No explanation/justification was displayed when I registered myself to Firefox Relay. I felt like I am forced to install unnecessary addons. I trust Mozilla and I believe this addon does not collectt our user data. That is why I installed this addon. I will not if other service provider requests me to same thing.

publicado el hace 5 añosIn order to discover the fields within a page in which the user can enter an email address so that we could autofill them, we needed to extend the functionality of the Firefox browser. Since Relay is new and in Beta and we wanted a mechanism to deliver updates and fixes quickly, the best route for us to deliver the browser side portion of Relay was through an add-on. In the future, we may include that Relay functionality in the Firefox browser so a separate add-on is not necessary. Relay can be used without the add-on (for example with a non-Firefox browser) by visiting the relay.firefox.com site and copy and pasting email aliases into the email address fields. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Tintn, hace 5 añosPlease add the ability to enter existing relays into text boxes opposed to opening extension in order to copy an alias.
Otherwise no issues yet ! - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Фугас Броколя, hace 5 añosFirefox Relay Service and Unicode escape sequence.
That's what I get:
Здравствуйте
It's "Hello" in Cyrillic.
--UPD--
It was "Body" of email. Google Mail.
Also, answer notification came to me directly to my main mail (not relay) and contains this:
We & #39 ;re
and
& quot; From & quot;, & quot;Subject & quot;, or & quot;Body & quot; of the email?
Idk is that google, mozilla or both.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 5 añosWe just deployed a new release which should fix this issue. If it does, can you let us know here? (And maybe update your review so other users will also know it's working?) - Se valoró con 5 de 5por PeX, hace 5 años
