Service Notice
The recent issue has been resolved, and our servers have been updated to align with changes made by YouTube. All systems are operational.
However, you may still experience slower download speeds or longer processing times than usual. This is due to ongoing effects from YouTube's recent infrastructure updates.
We appreciate your patience and assure you that performance will improve over time as these changes fully stabilize.

publicado el hace 8 horasHi! Our service was temporarily down due to recent updates, but we have now fixed the issue. Please try again — it should work smoothly now. If you’re satisfied, we would really appreciate it if you could consider leaving a rating on Mozilla. Thank you for your patience! - Se valoró con 5 de 5por casi dancasy, hace 3 días

publicado el hace 6 díasHi there! Thanks for trying the extension.
Just to clarify, the download button won't appear automatically on video pages. Instead, please follow these steps:
Click on the extension icon in the top-right corner of your Firefox browser.
A small window will open – paste the video URL you want to download.
Choose your desired resolution, then click the Download button.
The video will take a moment to process.
Once ready, a "Download to your device" button will appear – click that to start the download.
You can track the download progress in the Firefox Download Manager.
Let us know if you run into any issues — happy to help! 😊 - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13712107, hace un mesEs un engaño. Solamente abre una ventana para que copies la url del video. Una tomadura de pelo.

publicado el hace 2 mesesHi! Thanks so much for your feedback and for using YT Video Saver.
It looks like the issue you experienced may be due to how the format was selected. Just a heads-up: when downloading a video, please select only the correct MP4 format for the resolution you want. For example, if you want to download a video in 360p, choose “MP4 360p” only. Do not select both audio and video formats separately, as this can result in audio-only files or playback issues.
Currently, we support:
MP4 for video resolutions up to 2K (1440p)
WEBM for 4K and higher resolutions
We also use modern video codecs like AV1 and M4A to deliver better quality and smaller file sizes. However, these may not be supported on older devices or outdated video players — especially on older MacBooks.
We recommend using the latest version of VLC Media Player, which supports all the formats and codecs we use.
Please give it another try with the correct selection — it should work just fine! If you still face any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@ytvideosaver.com. We're here to help!

USE to work without exception ... one of the best ... I SAID "USE TO" ....
nowadays, it seems the developer has opted to reroute your download to a number of ad sites (among them, several that have been Black Flagged as a potential risk) ... have deleted this app from my system and have gone onto looking for something that is a bit more friendlier - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Keith Knowlton, hace 5 mesesAn excellent extension to Firefox. Straightforward to use. I wish I knew about this sooner.

- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15040671, hace 5 mesesThis extension works more often than not, but sometimes things from third-party advertisers download things such as the Opera Browser without asking, and keeps asking for you to allow notifications after saying No to them. The only way sometimes to get out of the third party mess is to close, then reopen the extension and try again. I can get 1080P on this extension where most apps either don't work anymore, or only capable of downloading in 360P. I will still use it, unless IT too stops working because YouTube blocked it, or whatever causes the other extensions to break. 03/2025: Doesn't work half of the time now, takes you to a lot of adult websites , and I keep getting virus warnings. Maybe it will download the first 22.5 MB of a twenty-minute video now. 03/20/25: Takes you to a fake Microsoft Virus Warning page, and won't let you click out. I wouldn't give my name or a nickel for Premium to anyone who would do business with such sleazy third parties just to make a Buck. I wouldn't trust them with my info as far as I could throw them, and couldn't care less about their rationalizations about it either.

publicado el hace 5 mesesThank you for your feedback! The pop-ups you’re seeing are ads that help us keep the extension free for all users by covering server costs. We understand they can sometimes be frustrating, and we’re always working to improve the user experience.
For an ad-free, faster downloading experience, you can support us with a small donation (as little as $1). This unlocks the premium version with no ads. You can donate via "Buy Me a Coffee" in the top menu—payments are securely processed by Stripe, and we also accept crypto.
If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. We appreciate your support! 😊 - Se valoró con 5 de 5por tonyw, hace 5 mesesAs of January 2025, this works with YouTube videos. Have tried so many other extensions, but this one really works. Well done
