Dishita: the lone warrior, taking on the mighty YouTube, and their ridiculous copyright policies. If I want to clip a Michael Jackson song - then who's to say I cant? Jacko's been dead (Rip) this many years, he's not going to complain, only the hangers on leeching off his money.
This ETVD extension has worked wonders for me. Short songs, two hour Drum N' Bass mixes - you name it - easy and with good quality playback. I use 256kbps, why not? I'd say it is CD quality, and from then on: I can play it on my iPod, in the car, or wherever.
Stop giving your money to Amazon, they don't need it.

A very clever, easy to use add-on. Great step-by-step instructions. You can download videos for free if you don't need high quality, just to learn how it works. AND, if someone who has paid for the HD download capability has downloaded the same video you're watching in the last 24 hours, you can download the HD video too. Once you've learned how easy it is, you can donate as little as $10.00 and get the HD download all the time. Now I use this to have vendors create videos for me, and I can download them straight from YouTube in HD all the time. A great (and inexpensive) investment! I use this both professionally and personally.

Works really great for. 1080p Full-HD movies look great after downloding.

Tricked into thinking it would download anything above 720p but requires after installation to get the paid version. Stay away from such software

This is great for downloading videos, but the MP3 functionality has been broken by a change in the way YT handles the audio ... since 2018, five years ago. Developer should remove that feature as upgrading it would be unwielding.

Excellent add on. Very easy to use

This is an extremely useful tool for me, and I appreciate the big effort for its development very much. I admire Dishita's patience with permanent obstructive code changes on the side of Firefox. Please, don't give up!
