It has stopped working since yesterday, the last straw for me to ditch Firefox I guess

It used to be a great extension but it doesn't work anymore. Garbage. Don't waste your time.

Downloaded the extension and did a test run.

First word searched: "Image".

[[ NO DEFINITION FOUND ]]

Second word searched: "Approved".

[[ NO DEFINITION FOUND ]]

Wow, fascinating.

"Recommended" by Mozilla, again proving that Mozilla would recommend trash or spyware extensions randomly, quality be damned. This extension was last updated 3 years ago, there is no reason to keep it as "recommended".

A very good one, with the exception of a few disadvantages like limited vocabulary

Edit2: Thank you so much for the user who recommended 'definer' by lumetrium! Even though its not as simple as this one was, it does the job.

This used to work great, but now ever word is searched for and not found. Rendering this completely useless.

It's terrible. It doesn't provide results for nearly every single lookup. I'd say it's a bust!

2025 Review: Does not know *any* words.
Any (adj): None at all.

2021 Review: Pretty disappointed. I wanted a dictionary for words I don't know, however the dictionary is apparently fairly basic. It *does* work, it just doesn't contain multiple uncommon words I tried.

Last update in Dec 2020. Please report this abandoned extension instead of installing.
